We are committed to empowering all in our communities around individual and family health, wellbeing and disease prevention.

Routine Appointments

Available from 8am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday. Call 1300 492 492.

Our after-hours service is provided by Bundaberg Base Hospital. See details below.

Urgent Appointments

We have a flexible appointment system for urgent appointments although this may not be with your usual doctor.  Children with worrying illnesses will be dealt with on the day but the appointment may not be with your regular doctor.

Keeping your appointments on time.

If you have multiple issues that need to be discussed with the doctor, please inform the reception staff at the time of booking to allow for a longer consultation time. Reasons that you may require longer time with your doctor are: driver’s licence (all types including over 75’s), childhood immunisations, medicals, centrelink forms, procedure bookings, and care plans that are arranged by your doctor.

Hours of operation

The Centre is open Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm with appointments available Monday-Friday  8am-4.45pm.  Consultations are usually 15 minutes but longer consults are available on request. At the discretion of the doctor, home, hospital and nursing home visits may be arranged with our reception staff.

After-hours care

After-hours care (after 5pm and prior to 8am) is available through the Bundaberg Base Hospital 24-hour Emergency Department.

Address: Cnr of Bourbong St and Hinkler Ave, Bundaberg.

After-hours phone: 07 4150 2222.

Please present yourself at our reception desk with your Medicare card and any concession cards.  At each visit reception staff will check your contact details as this assists us in maintaining accurate records.

It is extremely important we have your EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS as occasionally situations arise when we may need to contact your designated next of kin.

If you are a new patient, we will provide you with a copy of our IWC Medical Services booklet, which can also be downloaded in PDF form here.
