A MUCH-NEEDED early intervention service is back again after being shut down by the COVID pandemic for several months. $2.43m North Burnett project offers hope amid COVID crisis

WHILE the region continues to reel from the impacts of the COVID pandemic, a beacon of hope is emerging in North Burnett. The $2.43 million project to deliver a purpose-built IWC North Burnett Health & Wellbeing Centre in Gayndah to serve the whole of the region is proceeding on track and on budget. “We couldn’t let the pandemic slow down this project,” said IWC General Manager Wayne Mulvany, “because it is offering a very real opportunity for the region to move ahead in relation to Primary Health Care. CHARITY GOLF DAY TAKES A SWING AT PANDEMIC GLOOM

The COVID pandemic hasn’t dampened the community spirit in North Burnett, with plans well advanced for the 2020 IWC Charity Golf Day.
