Preventative Dental Care

Regular check-ups, good oral hygiene routines and education are important to avoid more costly dental problems.

Why should you be seeing the dentist?

We know that the Dentist probably isn’t your most favourite person, and you’d probably rather delay or avoid visiting them. But the cost to your health and your wallet can be substantial if you ignore your teeth and avoid the Dentist. Prevention is always better than a cure.

To ensure your oral health and hygiene is always at its best, we recommend seeing your dentist regularly for:

Professional dental cleaning
The most effective way to remove plaque and tartar build-up. Through the process of scaling and polishing, your teeth will never feel better.
Comprehensive examination
The best way to detect early signs of tooth decay, cavities and gum disease.
Diagnostic tests
Based on findings during your comprehensive examination, our dentists may recommend further diagnostic tests, such as X-Rays to accurately diagnose conditions. These results are then used to determine the best treatment plan.
Dental Education

Oral hygiene education

It’s important that everyone knows how to properly brush and floss their teeth.

Dentists can assist you in ensuring your brushing technique is reaching all areas, and may recommend other oral hygiene practices, such as regular mouthwash use in some circumstances.
