Investing in regional communities...

In addition to IWC's $30 million, 7,000 sqm Health & Wellbeing Centre in Bundaberg, in 2021 IWC opened a purpose-built $2.43 million Health and Wellbeing Centre in Gayndah, to support the North Burnett Community.

IWC has been established in the North Burnett region since 2014, with an active on-the-ground team of health and community professionals, and the newly-built facility creates a clinical and community “hub” for the region.

The Centre is designed to provide services and initiatives to all people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, across the North Burnett region.

IWC is the Aboriginal Medical Service for Bundaberg region (AMS of the Year 2016) and the only Indigenous Primary Health Service provider in North Burnett. IWC invests in our regional communities to build sustainable and high-quality health and wellbeing services. We aim to be a service that "transforms" lives, by walking alongside you in your health and wellbeing journey.
