General Practitioner - full or part-time, VR or non-VR

Stage 1 of the IWC Health & Wellbeing Complex opened in 2014, and has seen exponential client growth. Stage 2 of our Health & Wellbeing Complex is currently under construction, and due to open in 2019.

IWC is DWS registered - VR and non-VR GPs welcome. We offer a flexible working environment that can accommodate all levels of skill and experience, and our team of permanent GPs are all qualified as Supervisors.

IWC Medical Centre has an extensive administration and support team overseen by the Practice Coordinator, and the IWC Executive is involved in regular GP meetings to facilitate a proactive and responsive approach to continual improvement.

Local Area Coordinator (LAC)

IWC is seeking a skilled individual to join its NDIS Partners in the Communities Program, which delivers the NDIS in the Bundaberg region. 

Local Area Coordinators (LACs) work directly with participants to support them in accessing and transitioning to the NDIS, through the completion of scheme questionnaires, reporting and recommendations. 

The successful applicants will need to have very good written skills, detailed note taking and reporting is apart of the everyday role. Further responsibilities of this role include program support, planning, community development, administration, and other duties as required.

IWC Dental  Practice has a role for a Dental Assistant. We are seeking a suitably qualified person to join our well established and professional team on a full-time basis. This role requires a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or Diploma, or extensive experience in dental assisting.​​

Indigenous Health Worker / Support Worker

Full time (or part-time with flexibility up to full time)

The Indigenous Health Worker will be involved across all aspects of primary health/clinical care delivered by the IWC.  The IHW provides a range of advice, case management, advocacy and linkages to support client access to health services.

This role will also undertake Home Care Support work within the North Burnett area. Support work will involve providing a range of services including domestic assistance, transport, centre base, advocacy and home maintenance.

Gymnasium / Administration Assistant

IWC is seeking  a Gymnasium / Administration Assistant to perform administrative functions across IWC Rehabilitation Gym and Allied Health Services.  

This position will require early starts (from 6am) and/or later finishes (until 9pm) and we are open to job share for the position. 

This position will have a high level of responsibility, knowledge and confidentiality skills required. You must have a strong Administration and Customer Service background together with a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Occupational Therapist

IWC is seeking an accredited and registered Occupational Therapist  for our Allied Health Professional team who are involved in  primary / clinical care services delivered by the IWC. This position is suitable for either an experienced Occupational Therapist or a new graduate.

The successful applicant will hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Occupational therapy (or equivalent) qualification, as well as a current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing physical rehabilitation programs, maintaining relevant documentation and complying with local, state and federal certification requirements.
