Stage 1 of the IWC Health & Wellbeing Complex opened in 2014, and has seen exponential client growth. Stage 2 of our Health & Wellbeing Complex is currently under construction, and due to open in 2019.

IWC is DWS registered - VR and non-VR GPs welcome. We offer a flexible working environment that can accommodate all levels of skill and experience, and our team of permanent GPs are all qualified as Supervisors.

IWC Medical Centre has an extensive administration and support team overseen by the Practice Coordinator, and the IWC Executive is involved in regular GP meetings to facilitate a proactive and responsive approach to continual improvement.

  • Our Medical Centre team includes GPs (all qualified to supervise), Indigenous Health Practitioners, RNs, ENs, Reception and Administration staff.

IWC is seeking an accredited and registered Occupational Therapist  for our Allied Health Professional team who are involved in  primary / clinical care services delivered by the IWC. This position is suitable for either an experienced Occupational Therapist or a new graduate. The successful applicant will hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Occupational therapy (or equivalent) qualification, as well as a current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist. 

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing physical rehabilitation programs, maintaining relevant documentation and complying with local, state and federal certification requirements.

Coastal Life Therapies (CLT) is a private psychology practice operating in Bundaberg, Queensland. It is situated within the prestigious IWC Health & Wellbeing Centre- building.

CLT has a team of highly experienced psychologists, supported by a dedicated receptionist team that provides full administrative support.

The CLT team offers specialist and general psychology services, including the areas of psychotherapy, trauma management, addiction interventions, self-harm and suicidal behaviour, and ASD. The scope and skills of the CLT team means that you can identify key areas in which you would like to focus your services.

IWC is seeing a Local Area Coordinator for the Bundaberg region (Full Time or flexible Part Time).

The Local Area Coordination project aims include:

  • To undertake assessments of potential NDIS eligible Participants and assist with registration

  • Conduct planning conversations and plan reviews with eligible Participants

  • Implementation of plans and support for eligible Participants

  • Information and education to Community

IWC is the Local Area Coordinator for the IWC NDIS Partners in Community Program delivering the NDIS in your community.
