BAMP (Bundaberg Alcohol Management Plan)

BAMP is a partnership developed between the police, lifeline, licenced premises, liquor licencing and security companies to promote safer drinking venues and reduce alcohol crime related harm and has included some of the following initiatives;


 

-Hospitality First Responder Training- Alcohol and drug RSA training program incorporating First Aid for hospitality employees.
-Banning Notices- Generic promotion to reduce unacceptable behaviour in liquor outlets.
-I.C.E. In case of Emergency- Promoting community safety awareness through the provision of emergency contacts on mobile phones.
